Never sung in a choir before but fancy giving it a go? Or maybe you have in the past and would like to again?
The Braughing Sing is a community choir based in Braughing in Hertfordshire, directed by Sarah Mapplebeck. The choir sings music in a variety of styles and is open to all ages and abilities. There are no auditions and you do not need to be able to read music. The only requirement is plenty of enthusiasm!
Braughing Sing members are encouraged to attend regularly so that the choir can progress together and reach a good standard for performances. However the main aim is to have fun and enjoy ourselves getting to know new music and improving our sound.
The choir rehearses on Tuesdays during term times from 7.30-9pm at Jenyns School, Braughing, SG11 2QJ.
Fees are paid termly based on a cost of £4 per rehearsal. New members are always welcome to come and try out the choir free of charge for a couple of weeks.
